Summer Workout Guidelines

Facilities Cleaning

  • Weight equipment should be wiped down thoroughly before and after an individual’s use of equipment.

  • Lockers will be sprayed and wiped down daily.

  • Clothes and towels will be washed each day after workouts.

  • Clothes will be washed and hung up each day.

  • Athletes will be allowed to change in small groups before and after practice.

  • Athletes will not be allowed to gather in or around the locker room or facilities after practice/workouts.

Physical Activity and Equipment

  • There should be no shared equipment (towels, clothing, shoes or sports equipment)

  • All athletic equipment, including balls, should be cleaned after each use

  • Equipment should be cleaned prior to use

  • A Spotter cannot be used during social distancing norms

Hydration

  • All students shall bring their own water bottle. Water bottles must not be shared.

  • Hydration stations (water cows) may be utilized but must be cleaned after every practice

Acclimation Period

  • All workouts are VOLUNTARY

  • Workout groups should remain the same throughout the month of June

  • Athletes may not participate in more than one practice per day

  • Practice should not exceed two hours per day

  • Practice limited to four days the first week

  • Intensity level of activity should be reduced to 50% of the pre COVID conditioning levels for the first 7 days.
