Last season, the Lafayette High School Dance team went out of their comfort zone to not only compete in their usual 5A Varsity Game Day division, but also the 3A-5A Varsity Jazz division. We’re all in.”

Friday, September 6th, the Jazz team received their state championship rings during halftime of a Lafayette Football Game. State championship dancers include, Swayze Knight, Lila Kate Sealy, Allie Flanders, Zaria Houston, Molly Riddle, Natalie Blair, and Kate Riddle.

According to Riddle, “The ultimate dream is winning double state titles. When I was in 7th grade, we won JV Game Day at state, so being able to come back as a senior and win in the Varsity division would be such a full circle moment.”
