YRS AT LAFAYETTE: 18     YRS COACHING: 18 

Gene Anderson started his coaching career in the 2006-2007 season as the girls' head  Coach.  The team concluded the season with a record of 12-3 and its first winning season.  The following year he took over the boys program and made the playoffs for the first time in school history.  Starting year 18th as boys head coach with a record of 193-159-5 varsity record.  Since taking over he started a JV team and a middle school team.  Made the postseason 8 times, 3 North Half Championship games, and Two 5A State Championship appearances.
